Watchdogs finally launched after two years of hype – what’s next for Ubisoft?

For the past two years, Ubisoft’s pre-E3 press conferences have been anchored by footage and discussion about Watchdogs. With that game launched to block sales, will Ubisoft reveal a sequel to this year’s show? Maybe tactical open world shooter The division, briefly teased at last year’s press conference, will fill that gap. Perhaps there will be an entirely new franchise.

Or maybe Ubisoft will continue to lean on its lineup of annual (or bi-annual) franchises. Assassin’s Creed: Unity seems almost guaranteed to appear after March leaks, just like the new one Distant scream title already confirmed for a November launch. And don’t forget the open world racing game The crewwhich will be released later this year with a delay.

And as we prepare to bring you all the news when it happens, rest assured we have our fingers crossed over the Beyond good and evil 2 macro button on our keyboards.
