Een bepaalde groep gamers heeft op deze gewacht <a href=

A certain sect of gamers has been waiting for this since 2016.

Kojima Productions

At this year’s E3 conference in Los Angeles, Sony invited famed game developer Hideo Kojima to the stage at the company’s PlayStation 4 press conference to announce the latest from Kojima Productions, oddly named Death stranding.

In the trailer, a quote from William Blake introduces a strange world: “To see a world in a grain of sand / And a sky in a wildflower. / Hold infinity in the palm of your hand / And eternity in an hour.” Then we see a naked man with a handcuff on his wrist pick up a naked, crying baby and begin to cry, but the baby quickly disappears, leaving only black oil on the man’s hands. He sees fat baby footsteps (but not a baby) walking away from him, and he gets up and walks across a desolate beach littered with dead whales. And that’s the end of the trailer.

The man clearly looks like that guy The living Deadand sure enough, Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on the AMC TV show, is credited in the credits of Kojima Productions.

While the trailer is rather ambiguous, the game’s teaser has been eagerly awaited by fans since Kojima left game publisher Konami in December 2015. Metal Gear solid The creator has an avid fan base and his announcement that he would be starting his own company with his small Kojima Productions team was almost expected given the strained relationship Kojima reportedly had with Konami in 2015.

Kojima Productions has said the first game will be a PS4 exclusive and being developed in conjunction with PlayStation, but subsequent games may or may not be exclusive to Sony’s console. However, today’s news included an announcement that major Sony developer Mark Cerny is on the development team, so Sony’s exclusivity might be a little more likely at this point.
